Our wooden playdough knives are designed specifically to mimic the shape of a small chopping knife, so your mini chef can practice correct knife grip, whilst playing. They are made from a single piece of wood, making them very sturdy. These can also be used in kinetic sand, air dry clay and for baking, with a gentle wipe and reoil afterwards.
They are made from sustainably sourced pine, well-sanded and finished with beeswax wood balm. They are approximately 10cm long.
Recommended age 3+. Use under adult supervision. Not recommended for use as a teething or chew toy.
Beadie Bug Play are a small, family business, based in Adelaide, South Australia. Carley runs the business (assisted by her husband and their 5 year old product tester)! A Beadie Bug is what their daughter used to call ladybirds when she was a young toddler and the name kinda stuck.
They design and make all of their own wooden and bioplastic products. All of the brilliant products they make are “Made for PLAY, not display” and are all designed to have multiple uses. Their passionate for providing natural materials for kids means they ALWAYS look for/make a plastic-free option.
