Bauspiel Lucent cubes

I purchased these after reading another’s positive review about the cubes. My daughter loves to build and these cubes have been a great addition to are other Bauspiel toys. They are absolutely beautiful and my daughter has enjoyed using them in her builds and also playing with them separately and creating rainbows and other patterns. We have even used them to do maths sums! I have ordered several times via puzzle bug and their customer service and quality of items are outstanding. Thanks you!

Pretty addition to our builds!

I bought these lucent cubes after seeing them on Instagram. I was very happy to see that Puzzlebug have split up the big set of 100 into sets of 10, making them much more affordable. The larger sized sets were out of stock, but the sets of 10 were still in stock... so I ended up buying four sets of 10, giving me 40 blocks. This doesn't cost any extra for being a small set, it's equivalent to the price of the 50 set per cube, which I really appreciate.
At that point I only had Grimm's blocks and no other Bauspiel, so I wasn't sure how well they would work, being a totally different scale... but I thought I'd try them out as they looked so pretty. I needn't have worried! They sit very nicely on top of the 4 cm Grimms blocks and make wonderfully sparkly decorations, catching the light and adding a whole other dimension to our creative play. All the children seized them eagerly and loved them from the first look. They call them their "treasures" , and love to line them up around the walls of our Grimms builds.
I have since caught the "translucent block bug" and bought several other types of acrylic blocks. The lucent cubes go brilliantly with everything!
